How red light therapy works
The panel emits low-level red and near-infrared wavelengths that penetrate the skin and underlying tissue. These wavelengths energize the mitochondria — the power centers of your cells — helping them produce more ATP, the molecule cells use for energy. That process is associated with tissue repair, improved circulation, and cellular regeneration.

Why we pair it with osteogenic loading
Research suggests red light may support osteoblast activity — the bone-building cells — and blood flow to bone tissue. Increased cellular energy and circulation are thought to support bone remodeling over time, which is why it complements weekly OsteoStrong sessions.
Inflammation and recovery
Red light therapy is studied for its effects on oxidative stress and inflammatory signaling. In research settings, photobiomodulation has been associated with reduced levels of creatine kinase and interleukin-6 — markers the body produces in response to muscle stress — which is why it has been adopted widely in sports recovery.
For members, the practical effect is simpler. The panel is most commonly used for general muscle soreness and joint stiffness, either before a session to prepare the tissue or after it to aid recovery. Because the light reaches a large surface area at once, a few minutes covers the whole body rather than one joint at a time.

What the research on red light therapy shows
Red light therapy — known in research as photobiomodulation — has been studied since the 1960s, though nearly all of that research applied light to one area at a time. Full-body panels like ours are a newer approach, and the research on them is still catching up.
Whole-body red light, sleep quality, and endurance
A study of twenty elite athletes compared fourteen nights of whole-body red light irradiation against a placebo group. The red light group showed improved sleep quality scores, higher serum melatonin, and better endurance performance, with the sleep improvements correlating to the melatonin change. The authors described it as a non-pharmacologic option for sleep after training.
What a session is like
Stand or sit a short distance from the panel for about 10 minutes. Because clothing blocks most of the light, members have a private room to themself. Goggles are provided. Some notice a slight warmth from the light toward the end.
The light is bright but not uncomfortable, and the whole thing is passive. Because the panel is full-height, it covers the body in one session rather than requiring you to reposition for different areas.
