Founder and lead dentist, practicing since 1989. She earned her undergraduate degree at Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas and her DDS at the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston, then completed a year-long private fellowship in cosmetic dentistry. She describes her work in terms of artistry and architecture — building a long-range plan for a patient's dental health rather than treating one restoration at a time. She lectures internationally and has appeared in New Beauty and on Fox's Ambush Makeover. She was among the first dentists in the country to adopt the Oral ID cancer screening device, is FACT-certified, and has served on 3M's Council for Innovative Dentistry and the Catapult evaluation group. Memberships include the ADA, AACD, Academy of Laser Dentistry, AGD, Texas Dental Association and the Greater Houston Dental Society, and she is a founding member of the World Clinical Laser Institute. Her pro bono work includes the AACD's Give Back a Smile program for survivors of domestic violence, her own Gift of a Smile program for at-risk youth, and a dental mission to Ecuador with the Ecuadent Foundation.

Dr. Payel Banik, DO
OSTEOPATHIC PHYSICIAN (OMM / NEUROMUSCULOSKELETAL MEDICINE)
Dr. Banik completed her undergraduate degree at Trinity University in San Antonio and earned her DO at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, UNT Health Science Center, in 2009, followed by family medicine residency training at San Jacinto Methodist and Florida Hospital East Orlando. She is dually board certified, one of roughly twenty physicians in Texas holding her particular specialty combination. She and her husband spent five years saving to open a practice built deliberately against what frustrated them as patients: on-time appointments, transparent pricing and enough time to actually treat. The work is hands-on osteopathic manipulative medicine across a wide age range — infants and children with recurrent ear infections, congestion, colic and constipation; pregnant and postpartum women; and adults with back pain and sciatica seeking alternatives to surgery. Selected by peer physicians as a Houstonia Top Doctor in neuromusculoskeletal and osteopathic manipulative medicine.

Dr. Tracy Southwick, ND (Trad.), HHP, DNM
TRADITIOANL NATUROPATHIC / HOLISTIC HEALTH PRACTITIONER
Founder and owner of Heights of Health, which she opened in 2007. Her path into the field began in the 1990s with a debilitating health condition of her own; after recovering through holistic means she opened a natural health store in Fredericksburg, Texas, hosted a local radio show, and worked as staff naturopath at an integrative medical clinic. During that period she earned her doctorate in naturopathy from Trinity College of Natural Health. She sold the Hill Country business in 2002, returned to her hometown of Houston, and opened the Heights clinic five years later when demand outgrew a solo practice. The clinic now runs seven practitioners and serves both Houston and virtual clients. Its stated approach is mind-body-spirit and root-cause rather than symptomatic, using bio-resonance technology, muscle response testing, functional medicine lab work and holistic behavioral counseling. Southwick developed two proprietary techniques used throughout the clinic — Energetic Cellular Release and Mind-Body Release — and in 2020 opened the Mind Body Spirit Release Academy to train and certify other practitioners in them. She is also co-founder of TriVibrance, a line of frequency-imprinted essential oils and diodes, and co-creator of the Wellbeing, Simplified program with colleague Heather Goodwin. She speaks regularly at conferences, on podcasts and on radio.
